The Feeling Under My Hijab.

Arabian
The Feeling Under My Hijab. At night, I put on my heels, even when I know no one’s coming. My hijab stays close around me, but my legs stay uncovered below my knees. The anklet circles my ankle, making small sounds every time I take a step. Sometimes I run my hand over my hip, wondering how it would feel if someone else touched me there. Getting dressed at night reminds me how much I want to be seen. Maybe that’s why I write, to let the sides of me hidden under my hijab find their way out.
