The other way how to replenish Pasha’s harem was to do rides on different villages and towns in the Pashalik. All town people were in local church and it was much easier to deal with them. When the soldiers got to the center church, they surrounded the church, sealing all exits. Bajrakar approached all city dwellers with a huge sack and they had to surrender all money, jewelry or anything valuable. The Turkish matrons now mingled with the locals looking for young girls. When they noticed one which would be suitable for Pasha’s harem or could be later on sold at the city slave market, they first approached her. One of the matrons briskly groped her young breasts, assessing its size and firmness. If the girl had a dress with a cleavage, matron pulled the dress evaluating the roundness of her youthful charms.
